An Active sentence in the simple present tense has the following structure:
Subject + first form of the verb + object
A passive sentence in the simple present tense has the following structure:
Object of the active sentence + is/am/are + past participle form of the verb + by + subject of the active sentence

Changing an assertive sentence into the passive

Active: I write a letter.
Passive: A letter is written by me.
Active: I help you.
Passive: You are helped by me.
Active: I love my parents.
Passive: My parents are loved by me.
Active: We love our country.
Passive: Our country is loved by us.

Changing a negative sentence into the passive

Active: I do not write a letter.
Passive: A letter is not written by me.
Active: I do not abuse my servants.
Passive: My servants are not abused by me.
Active: I do not write novels.
Passive: Novels are not written by me.
Active: He does not tease her.
Passive: She is not teased by him.

Changing an interrogative sentence into the passive

Structure: Is/are/am + object of the active verb + past participle form of the verb + by + subject of the passive verb
Active: Do you write a letter?
Passive: Is a letter written by you?
Active: Do you write stories?
Passive: Are stories written by you?
Active: Does she make candles?

Passive: By whom are you not obeyed?
Active: Which newspaper do you read?
Passive: Which newspaper is read by you?
Active: Does she do her duty?
Passive: Is her duty done by her?

Notes:

The object of the active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. Therefore, sentences which do not have an object cannot be changed into the passive. The following sentences, for instance, cannot be changed into the passive because they do not have objects.
The old man sat in a corner.
The child sleeps.
The wind blows.
The dog barks.
The fire burns.
He laughed aloud.

Tugas 2 Bahasa Inggris Bisnis 2#

  • How to use SO & TOO
"So" and "too" are useful words that can make your sentences shorter but stronger. The examples here show them used with conjunctions, but there are many applications for these words.
Examples:
I went to a movie, and my friend did, too.
or
I went to a movie, and so did my friend.

Pay attention to word order. "Too" goes at the end of the sentence, and "so" goes after the conjunction, then the helping verb, and then the subject.
When two situations are the same, you could write a sentence like this:

I like to eat pizza, and my children like to eat pizza.

But this is better:
I like to eat pizza, and my children do, too.
or
I like to eat pizza, and so do my children.

  • How to use SOME & ANY
The words some and any are used for countable and uncountable nouns. In general, we could say that some means a few / a little and any means nonein negative clauses or a few / a little in questions.

Positive Clauses

In positive clauses, we usually use some.
Example:
I have bought some bread.
I have bought some apples.

Negative Clauses

In negative clauses, we use any. Note, however, that any alone is not a negative - it must be not ... any
Example:
I have not bought any bread.
I have not bought any apples.

Questions

In questions, we usually use any.
Example:
Have you bought any bread?
Have you bought any apples?

Compound Words with some & any

Some & any can also be part of compound words such as:
  • something / anything
  • someone / anyone
  • somewhere / anywhere
Note that some & any have to be used with a noun while compound words with some & any can stand on their own.
Example:
I have bought some bread.
I have bought something.
Howeversome and any need not stand directly before the noun. Sometimes, the noun appears somewhere before some or any and is not repeated. So if you are not sure whether to use some or something for example, check if there is a noun in the sentence that you can place after some.
Example:
I do not have to buy bread. Rachel has already bought some [bread].

Exceptions

Positive Clauses with Any

We usually use some in positive clauses. But after neverwithouthardly, we use any.
Example:
We never go anywhere.
She did her homework without any help.
There’s hardly anyone here.
Also in if clauses, we usually use any.
Example:
If there is anything to do, just call me.

Questions with Some

We usually use any in questions. But if we expect or want the other to answer ‚yes‘, we use some.
Example:
Have you got any brothers and sisters?
→ some people have brothers or sisters, others don't - we cannot expect the answer to be ‚yes‘
Would you like some biscuits?
→ we offer something and want to encourage the other to say ‚ja‘

How to make a simple robots without using a program

This time I post how to make simple robots without using a program by using the material used, does not require an expensive cost, we make a robot like Animals Beetle (we name the Robot Beetle). so guys, check this out

MATERIALS
- AA battery holder
- Some solder wire
- Some of the wires connecting the motor to
- 2 AA batteries
- 2 1.5 V motor (preferably identical/similar)
- Slide switch
- 2 SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch
- 1-2 paperclips
- Some glue

Don't be too primed for ingredients, as I am sure you can find at secondhand toys or a radio.

EQUIPMENT
- A wire cutter and stripper
- A pliers
- Hot glue
- Solder
- Multimeter

You can borrow the equipment for your father.

STEPS:
1. Check the batteries are still usable or not, make sure it can be used.
2. Set the cable holder, don't forget this "3 CONNECTION CABLE"
3. Mounting the antenna, attach 2 SPDT Switches with hot glue in front of shareholders try to do it as perfect as possible.
4. align the paper clip, to form a straight line, then cut with wire cutters into 2 parts, do well to customize the size of the balance.
5. bend the paper clip that is already divided, as in the picture. same to me balanced.
6. Paste and Glue the paper clip on each SPDT Switches up top.
7. driving Motor, attach the motor with the best angle of 40 degrees, or at least not too far from 40 degrees. Do as best as possible.
8. a wheel, the wheel is a wheel that I use of the toy, might be hard to find in stores. For the wheel hadn't too closely, use if there is no other alternative.
Paste and Glue in the back.
9. arrange the cables and connect, connect the cables well and rightly, do not get one pole (+) and (-) so that does no error occurred (dissipates energy).
10. Decorative robot, this Step is optional (not required), I recommend to decorate as well and as good as you want.
11. check cable arrangement and scheme of the robot.

12. How this tool works, when a robot on a wall or an obstacle, it triggers the switch L (left) or the R (right) in the shape of the antenna, when switch is depressed then the motor stops and see if one motor stops then the balance will be rocking and it make the robot turn away from obstacles.

Please try and finish.
